Project update 8 of 24
Wrapping this beast up!
I have recently acquired a project manager to head up the printing process and make sure things get done on time. This is a blessing. My artist brain is pretty great at coming up with ideas and pretty terrible at organizing them.
We are planning to go to print March 15, which gives me a little less than 3 weeks to polish the art, text, and content.
Met with the bindery rep. last week and he educated me on materials. Heading into the book design phase which will include all the materials necessary to make a book.
LOTS of learning. Still waiting on a quote from printer and binder. The printing will take roughly 3 weeks then it’s off to the binder to get stitched into actual books which is scheduled to take an additional 4 weeks, then ship back to Oregon. Hopefully I will have the books in hand by the end of May. Shipping domestically should arrive in your hands early June and mid June for international orders.
So that’s the latest. Thanks again to everyone for your patience!
Also in addition to each copy being signed and numbered (this first run will be for the collectors) I am including a signed certificate of authenticity with all prints and books explaining how your help got the book printed.
THANK YOU!
