I left the video game industry (a dream job designing characters for Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk) in 2009 planning on spending a year giving full attention to a personal project; the writing and illustrating of a book. 2 years later I was nearly broke and realized I had no idea what I was doing. DreamWorks Feature Animation came to the rescue and hired me as a visual development artist where I spent a year studying, surrounded by incredible talent. Armed with new skills I set off on my own once again to focus on the book full-time.
Another Slumber Party. Available in a 13" x 19" giclee print. “The book” has since ballooned into (at this point) a 6 volume series of illustrated novels arching stylistically from children’s book to illustrated novel. Volume 1 is approaching completion and I am looking to raise $12,000 to see it printed in hardcover. If I do not reach my goal I will not receive any of the pledges and will have to search for funding elsewhere.
Captain Sleepwalker. Available in a 13" x 19"giclee print.
A producer at DWA asked what I would do if Sleepwalker isn’t as successful as I imagine. It got me thinking and I feel if it sells 10 copies or 10,000, it will be a success to me. The book and accompanying work has been a tool for my development as a storyteller and an artist and a record of the best thing I could create at the time. And I think that’s pretty rare for an artist to honestly be able to say.

When can I expect my copy of Sleepwalker - Cycle the First?
This campaign is to get funding for the printing and distribution of the first book in the Sleepwalker series. This means the book is NOT PRINTED YET and has yet to go through the extensive process of publishing. Please be aware that from the time of the campaign’s end to the time you have a copy in your mits could take anywhere from 6-8 MONTHS! Yikes, I know. Anyone reserving a copy will receive a monthly update in an email keeping you informed on how things are going. All other rewards can be expected much sooner and I appreciate your patience.
Milk ‘n Cookie Time. Available in a 8.5" x 11 giclee print.
International shipping
Holy cow this is expensive for everyone! I will apologize in advance to any supporters living outside of the United States. Your support is EXTRA appreciated as shipping will drive up the cost and take longer for you to receive your rewards. This book is very much intended for all of humanity and I’m sorry I cannot offer a cheaper alternative at this time :( One alternative to circumvent this dilemma is to find a few friends in your area to go in together on a group order, saving money on individual packaging.
The Sheriff and Somnus. Available in a 13" x 19" giclee print.
I wish I could help but I’m broke!
