Hello everyone, it is hard to believe that it has already been another week!

This update is going to focus on software changes and the first batch of FlippyDrives. We will not be able to share any production updates until the end of the crowdfunding period.

Last week we did a lot of work to prepare for Tito’s new video. You can watch it on YouTube now!

Specifically, we had to work on getting a quick update for Folders and a demo of the Bluetooth functionality into the video. But more on that later…

Weekly Software Update

In the past week we released the 1.1.0-1.1.1 software updates. Included in the updates are:

• Official Swiss support using r1712
• Folders in CubeBoot (up to 2,000 files per folder)
• Custom icons for Games and Homebrew
• Fixes for an old PAL Graphics issue

Not included in this update is an early version of Bluetooth Controller support. Testing for that is still in progress and will likely be included in a later update in the beginning of October.

Production Updates

Programming the first batch is in progress! Now that we have a stable software release after version one, we are ready to start programming the ~1,000x units that we are shipping out in November.

After programming the units, we still need to pack them into product boxes individually with plastic parts and screws before packing them into shipping boxes. We’ll have these units ready to ship off to Crowd Supply this month.

Extra Goodies

After making some stickers for an upcoming convention, Chris realized it could be fun to make FlippyDrive case badges too! We have decided to include these with the deluxe edition of FlippyDrive as a bonus!

Full-size stickers will also be available at a later date.
