The REMzen wakes you naturally, with spectral light therapy, at just the right moment in your sleep cycle to minimize grogginess and sleep inertia. In addition, the REMzen tracks the quality of your sleep through REM-cycle analysis. Other wearables on the market tell you how long you slept. But that’s not enough. The REMzen Smartest Alarm wakes the user at just the right moment within a user-defined window of time. So you can be sure you won’t be roused too early or too late!
Users of the REMzen will receive an automatically generated report of their sleep, including REM-cycle analysis and sleep duration, every time they connect the mask to their personal computer.
In addition, users will be able to download the raw recorded sleep data, recorded in 10-bit digital resolution, so they can see their own trends and biohack their way to better sleep!
The REMzen is battery operated and fully rechargeable. Download data and charge the battery via Micro-USB. Use the REMzen graphic user interface to set the Smartest Alarm waking window and view your sleep analysis. Device will connect to the internet from time-to-time to keep the firmware running up to date.

Sam is an electrical engineer, specializing in power and renewable energy. He has experience in validation and test engineering, and is skilled at making things work. When he isn’t in the lab working on REMzen, he enjoys visiting family in Seattle and cheering on Liverpool FC.
