Phew, the content of book 1 is DONE! Only 104 pages of profusely illustrated life-consuming dreamy richness. No biggie. What a load off.

Can’t wait to get the book in your hands! I’m very proud of it. Working on something this genuinely cute for so long has been a huge struggle for someone with such a twisted sense of humor…but story called for it in this book and story is Queen. Updates will continue throughout the printing process. Will send another update when I have a better idea of when exactly the printer/binder can have the book ready. They told me 6 weeks last time so I can assume it will be close to that. Then comes the task of shipping…heh, any young artists need an internship? I’ve learned so much from this experience. Like not to try to do everything myself. And not to make promises I can’t keep. (I was planning on sending out a painting per week for a raffle but that quickly got in the way of working on the book. I’m sorry for that.) And never to say, “this is the best thing I can create!” Because we’re constantly improving and yesterday’s triumphs are tomorrow’s old news. I’m going to try and take the next month off, getting more exercise and spending time with friends and family. Thanks for your continued support and patience.
