Dear Boondock Echo Community,
We are thrilled to announce that the Boondock Echo devices have officially arrived at our trusted distributor, Mouser Electronics! After months of hard work and collaboration, the final product will be on its way to you by the end of the month!
Mouser Electronics will receive, inventory, and then begin shipping the Boondock Echo devices to our amazing supporters next week. This marks a major milestone in our journey, and we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your patience and unwavering support throughout this process.
As we transition into this next phase, our team will continue to work diligently to support you as you receive and begin using your Boondock Echo. We’re here to ensure that your experience is seamless, from unboxing to full operation.
If you haven’t already done so, please create an account at www.boondockecho.com, and join our Discord server in case you need support. Also, dig through your junk drawer and pull out a micro-USB cable to power/debug the device (in case something goes wrong, the port closest to the SD card allows serial debugging).
Inside your Boondock Echo shipping box, you’ll find a QR code that links to www.boondockecho.com/welcome, where you’ll get a quick overview of the device. Setting it up is easy! Just power it on and connect to its wireless hotspot using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The Boondock Echo will guide you step-by-step through the setup process using audible prompts.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’ll be keeping a close eye on our channels to provide support and to hear your feedback. You can email support@boondockecho.com for assistance. But the fastest way to get assistance is via Discord. Additionally, once we receive word that devices are shipped to supporters, we’ll schedule several live "bring-up sessions" that you can join and we’ll get your device online live on the air!
We would love to share in your joy and excitement as you open your device and use it for the first time! If you record your "haul" and share the video with us (1080i minimum resolution, 4k preferred), and, if we use it in a promotional video, we’ll give you an additional free month of the highest tier of service!
