Polverine is a mikroBUS-compatible board featuring the BMV080 PM2.5 sensor and the BME688 gas sensor, both from Bosch Sensortec. These sensors are managed by an on-board Espressif ESP32-S3-MINI-1 dual-core microcontroller with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth® 5 (LE). Polverine can be programmed with Arduino, Eclipse, and PlatformIO/VisualStudio IDEs. Demo firmware makes sensor evaluation quick and easy.
The new BMV080 sensor is the world’s smallest PM2.5 air quality sensor. Its innovative fanless design keeps it extremely compact and relatively low-power, with a sleep current draw of less than 30 μA. Polverine allows you to quickly put the BMV080 to use.
