FMH Room 257
The PIC line of microcontrollers from Microchip are small and simple devices that still manage to be full of fun features. They are also some of the only microcontrollers left that come in a DIP (i.e., breadboard-able) package, making them ideal for prototyping! In this workshop, we’ll build HackerBox #0040, which features the PIC line of microcontrollers and uses them to build a GPS clock. You get to keep what you make! Limited to 20 participants (or teams).
Participants should bring a laptop. Preferably they will have installed MPLAB X IDE v6.05 and the XC8 compiler see the worksheet below and they will bring a soldering iron.
