TinyBeast FPGA Schematics Released!

by Mans A

Hello TinyBeast FPGA supporters and enthusiasts!

We’re excited to share a major milestone in our commitment to open-source: we’ve just released the complete schematics for both TinyBeast FPGA P and S boards! You can now access them in our GitHub repository.

This release builds on our commitment to foster an open development environment, as we promised in our original campaign. Here’s what this means for you:

Enhanced Customization

For TinyBeast P: You can now design custom I/O interfaces, optimizing the connection between TinyBeast and your specific embedded system.

For TinyBeast S: Create your own carrier boards tailored to your project’s unique requirements.

Deeper Understanding

Gain insights into the hardware architecture, allowing for more efficient integration and utilization of TinyBeast in your projects.

Innovation Catalyst

Use these schematics as a starting point to develop specialized modules or adaptations for specific industries or applications. Remember how we highlighted TinyBeast P’s potential for effortless integration into embedded systems? With these schematics, you can take that integration to the next level. You can now design system architectures where TinyBeast P acts as a high-speed, low-power data I/O and processing unit, complementing your main embedded system.

Practical Applications

This approach allows you to create powerful, compact, and energy-efficient systems, perfect for edge computing, industrial automation, and advanced IoT applications.

Recent Developments

FPGA Zealot recently hosted a live stream showing how to integrate TinyBeast P with an embedded system and perform DMA operations.

This demonstration reinforces the ease of using TinyBeast as a powerful accelerator for various embedded systems.

Coming Soon: We’re finalizing firmware and software to enable DMA operations from PCs (Windows and Linux) to TinyBeast boards. This will further expand TinyBeast’s capabilities and ease of integration.
