Project update 2 of 3
Hello TinyBeast FPGA supporters and enthusiasts!
We’re thrilled to announce the release of firmware for our TinyBeast FPGA P and S boards, featuring a PCIe endpoint with DMA capabilities. This significant development opens up new possibilities for high-speed, advanced FPGA-based embedded systems. You can download the firmware sources from our GitHub repository.
By providing a PCIe endpoint, the TinyBeast boards can now seamlessly integrate into a broader system architecture, acting as a high-performance accelerator or data processing unit. The inclusion of DMA (Direct Memory Access) functionality further enhances performance by offloading data transfers from the CPU, allowing the FPGA to focus on computationally intensive tasks.
This firmware empowers developers to:
With this firmware release, we’re providing developers with the tools they need to push the boundaries of FPGA-based system design. We invite you to explore the possibilities and leverage the power of TinyBeast to create innovative solutions.
