The incredible community of Inkplate users that’s constantly growing, creating a community has inspired us greatly. With more than 8,000 pieces sold globally, Inkplate has become a beacon for creators, developers, and enthusiasts worldwide, enabling them to bring their innovative projects to life. Our community is diverse, vibrant, and brimming with creativity. We have seen so many interesting and creative projects it’s hard to keep a list.
It’s safe to say that the wide array of projects developed using Inkplate boards is a testament to the versatility and adaptability of such products. We wanted to give you a glimpse into some of the remarkable projects that our community members have developed using Inkplate boards:
A Reddit user, pantalonesgigantesca, initiated a project to coordinate family schedules during the COVID lockdown, kids’ virtual + physical school, etc. The creator wanted to get the kids/family events off their phones and onto a common area due to the changing schedules, and a manual solution meant one parent had to do the work every day. So, they engineered a solution using Inkplate.
Andrew Hudson-Smith created an Inkplate webpage viewer and shared it on Twitter. The project involves using Node.js, Node Express, and Puppeteer to open a web page and save it as an image on e-paper/e-ink displays.
Using the very first generation Inkplate 6 board, jackbrennan-creator created his minimalist ebook reader that’s fully open-source, of course.
