The Cashstache - a rugged, yet refined pocket companion. Cheers!

We at Light Vision Labs would like to introduce you to our little friend, the Cashstache. A slim wallet tough enough to hold up in the shop yet sophisticated enough for everyday use.

The Cashstache is made from high grade stainless steel, with gun blue finish. Nickel plated rivets provide a "buttoned shirt" look, attaching the stainless steel money clip to the back of the plate.

Light etchings of a bowtie and vertical lines give the Cashstache its signature refined look.

Our mustachioed wallet has an extra feature we believe all mustaches should come with; a bottle opener!

Manufacturing plan

Designed and developed using Autodesk’s Fusion 360 CAD, the parts are laser cut and engraved in Estacada, OR using high grade stainless steel, and finished with a bluing passivation process that helps prevent rust. Nickel plated rivets are purchased from Oregon Leather Co in Old Town Portland and assembled to the high strength, stainless steel spring clips. All finishing work and assembly is done by hand by the Light Vision Labs team at ADX in Portland, Oregon.

About the Cashstache

During a rainy northwest evening, we sought out to solve mankind’s greatest mystery…how do you open your beer with your mustache? And how could this incredible invention be with you at all times? With this… Cashstache is born.

After its early beginnings as a confused credit card multi-tool, the Cashstache evolved into a sophisticatedly rugged money clip. Since your wallet is always on you, why not make some more use of it and keep it slim? The Cashstache is the one tool you will never leave home without, ‘cause you never know when you might be offered a cold bottle of beer.

We went through a few different initial designs (seen below) before settling on this one, and after using it for a couple months now, we at Light Vision Labs are proud of its durability and look. We hope you will be too!

We are asking for an initial $500 to get our first run of Cashstache’s produced and into your pockets! Thank you for your support. Cheers!
