snickerdoodle Surprise

snickerdoodlers,

A nice little surprise to start your weekend (no, this is not a bad April Fools’ joke):

For those waiting on bated breath…

31 March 2016 10:00 AM - reworked snickerdoodles arrive at krtkl HQ

31 March 2016 10:38 AM - snickerdoodle searching for networks and pinging Google over Wi-Fi!!! :)

And just for good measure, three separate and simultaneous SSH sessions running on snickerdoodle…in the other room (because “why not?”)

The rework couldn’t have possibly been more fruitful. Here’s a quick pic:

We were hoping to test the 7020, 1GB DDR, and dual-band radio yesterday as well, but the connectors we needed flipped (for programming the STM/Zynq and accessing the I/O) weren’t… New plan is to test all that goodness on Tuesday and if all goes well, we’ll be off to the races!

It’s a good day in snickerdoodle land - the light at the end of the tunnel just got a little bit closer.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

Best,

the krtkl crew
