Hello backers and supporters of Giant Board! We have an update on the current status of the project.

Unfortunately, we’ve had to change manufacturers last minute as we were unable to come to an agreement with the manufacturer we had planned to use. We have, however, secured an agreement with a different manufacturer to which we were referred by Crowd Supply. As a result of this change, we’ve had to push back our estimated delivery dates by over a month. We now expect to ship Beta Boards in November and all other orders in December. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Meanwhile, we’ve been exploring new and awesome ways to use Giant Board. We’ve been working on supporting even more features out-of-the-box, so that all of you who want to get started on projects can do so as quickly and easily as possible. We’ve also been updating our build tools to make them easier to use and maintain. Finally, we’ve been exploring additional GPIO libraries to add support for more languages. (If you have any suggestions regarding GPIO libraries, please stop by the forum and let us know!)

Thank you everyone for your support. We hope that no one is discouraged by this delay. We will get you your Giant Boards soon, just not quite as soon as we’d hoped.
