Now that the crowdfunding portion of our campaign is over, we thought you might like an update to a project we introduced before. DAQiFi Nyquist 1 is still doing its job for the “smart mound” in development at Sean Mais’ laboratory at the Baseball Development Group. We love this application that measures the ground reaction forces (GRFs) of pitchers as they execute a throw. This data will help them work with their coaches to improve their form.

Sean posted, “The DAQiFi continues to impress me with its ease of use and flexibility in data collecting and device implementation. The device outputted data in a CSV file format which when opened in Python, was manipulated and formatted into an easy to read graph!”
