In these next few months before we ship, we’d like to give you a glimpse of how it’s going in our manufacturing and testing facility. This video gives a sneak peak!
Also, we’d like to share with you some of the questions we are getting regarding the Nyquist 1. Here is one of our latest:
Q: It seems that the Nyquist 1 has the I/O capability to “store and simultaneously forward” serial RS232-type data at moderate BAUD rates (say 1200-2400 BAUD). Has anyone tried to do this? Can it be "programmed" to do this?
A: Yes, the hardware is capable of communicating via RS-232 from the digital IO ports (and storing/transmitting the data). However, the firmware/software doesn’t currently support this. It will be possible to program this functionality since we make the source code available, either in firmware or on the client side. We have future plans to integrate serial communication. However, it will not be present in our first release.
Stay tuned for more updates!
