It’s been a while since our last update, but we wanted to let you know that the manufacturing of SimplePnP’s custom aluminum parts its going well.

Two thirds of the vacuum head plates are already milled and assembled. We are just waiting on some M2 screws to be delivered so we can finish mounting the nema8 motors and some dowel pins for the idler pulleys.

We’re also milling, drilling, and threading some bar stock to create mounting brackets for the motors, linear rails, and carriages. The new bracket design keeps the machine fully modular and is easy to assemble.
