Firmware Tweaks & Game Loading Made Easy

I’m just wrapping up some final firmware tweaks. One of my goals is to make it super easy to load games onto the device.

To do that, I’m building functionality directly into the website — you’ll be able to browse the games catalog and copy games straight to the onboard flash storage.

We’re using an ESP32S3 with 8MB of flash. The current firmware is just over 1MB, so there’s still room for:

• ~40 128k games or
• 100+ 48k games

And don’t forget, there’s also an SD Card slot — so you’ve got loads of extra space to play with.
