The PwrTool 500 is a 500 amp DC power shunt that allows monitoring 12-48v systems in Home Assistant via ESPHome firmware. It is the first product based on the FLIP_C3 dev board which makes designing smart hardware for off-grid systems easy by pairing an ESP32-C3 with a 10w(5v2a) buck converter tolerant to 60v. Prototypes of future projects including "PwrTool Director Mini" and "PT Shift" will be shown off alongside the PwrTool 500 in a mobile Home Assistant demo.
