Now, back to the news! 2239 more sets of Slimes shipped to Mouser & Crowd Supply for fulfillment a couple days ago. Which brings us to 16435 sets shipped so far!
If you have ordered SlimeVR from Crowd Supply before the start of November, you’re likely in this or even the previous shipment.
Previous Shipment
Some of you might have noticed that the previous shipment (designated S10) is taking a long time to be fulfilled. There have been a few problems with it: first, it was stuck in shipment for 3 weeks due to labeling issue, which took a long time to resolve; now Mouser has experienced some delays fulfilling the backlog of the orders, so not all of the previous shipment have been sent out to backers yet. We estimate that around 800 sets from the previous shipment are still not sent out.
The backlog, combined with holidays, means that sending out SlimeVR from this shipment to you might take a while. We are working with Mouser to make sure that you get your trackers before Christmas! But we can’t guarantee it.
Next Shipment
If you order SlimeVR now, you’re most likely in the next shipment (S12)! It’s already being packed by our assembly partner Chain Assembly and should be ready to be shipped within a week. As with the current one, we’re doing our best to get them to you this year, but because of the holidays we can’t guarantee that it will happen. Vacations, closures, and the overall global supply chain during this season can cause problems and delays.
S12 will include at least 2741 more sets of SlimeVR, and it’s not yet all sold out! As of writing of this update, we have ~2500 more sets in it than orders, so after it’s fulfilled SlimeVR might finally be in stock for immediate order. We’ll keep you updated as the things progress!
