Whereas three years ago, HiFive Unleashed could be paired with an FPGA-based expansion board to form a fully functional (if cumbersome) RISC-V desktop machine, today’s HiFive Unmatched is a single-board solution in a Mini-ITX form factor that is both more powerful and less expensive.
