We are so excited to share our motherboard debugging photos, as you can see from the raw images, we are making great progress on the Librem 15 rev2.

The photos are showing brushed aluminum (or aluminium depending on your knowledge of the earth’s third most abundant element etymology). Note, the Librem 15 rev2 production units will be anodized dark grey (or gray).

More updates will be coming, now that we’re closing in on production of the Librem 15 rev2.

Note: while the Librem 15 rev1 shipped with an AMI UEFI BIOS, we are working diligently to ship the Librem 15 rev2 with Coreboot+Intel FSP, and PureOS.
