Project update 9 of 9

Manufacturing Progress

by Aleksei K

Check, check, check - hello everyone!

Some time has passed since the last update and we have some new information to share.

Firstly, we have started the manufacturing process, and the first boards are ready.

Here are pictures:

If you follow the project on Hackaday, you may have noticed that we have done some experiments with power consumption of the low-power second core of Esp32-C6-Bug. This core can execute code and use some peripherals(UART and I2C), even when the main core is in deep sleep!

Currently, the low-power core is only available when programming via ESP-IDF.

Other interesting experiments are related to training machine learning algorithms for CNC tool breakage detection directly on the ESP32-C6-Bug. These are described in this post.

Best regards,
Prokyber Team
