After overcoming numerous difficulties during the production and R&D processes over this period, we should have been able to ship the Blade 3 boards in early January. However, due to the severity of the Covid-19 outbreak, many of my colleagues and the production line workers came down with the illness. This undeniably slowed our plan. We sincerely apologize for the delay, and we are grateful for your patience.

Considering the upcoming Spring Festival schedule, the optimistic estimate is that we should be able to ship well after the holidays. However, we are also making every effort to ship as early as feasible.

Cluster Function via PCIe

Like what we have shared on social media, the PCIe cluster function of Blade 3 is favorably pre-researched. The transfer speed via the daisy chain method reaches 6.9 Gbps, and the Switch method reaches 5.91 Gbps speed. Our team is still working on optimizing this connection speed.

HPL benchmarks

We expect to finish benchmarking the cluster HPL of the high-performance Blade 3 in the middle of the month. I am eagerly awaiting the results of this test just like you!
