It has been two years since the original WiCAN was released, and since then, the project has evolved significantly. Now, it is finally time for new and improved hardware!

The new WiCAN Pro is a fully-featured OBD2 scanner with a dedicated interpreter chip that supports all legislated OBD-2 protocols. Additionally, it runs the same open firmware current WiCAN users are already familiar with.

One of the most important new features the Pro offers is a USB host interface, which provides endless possibilities, such as LTE/GPS functionalities or other custom peripherals.
