Dear ZimaBlade Backers,

Some of you have shown interest in which power supply to use with ZimaBlade for the highest level of performance. Thank you for your patience. We quickly did some research and compatibility testing and came up with the following recommendations:

A PD power supply with 45 W or more that supports 12 V 3 A, or a laptop power supply you already have at home, can drive the ZimaBlade. Here is an example.

If your monitor supports PD power supply and one-line display, the ZimaBlade can be directly connected to your monitor and work through the Type-C port for display output.

For long-term use, consumer-grade PD power supplies are not so suitable for server scenarios based on our research. Therefore, ZimaBlade still comes with an official standard power supply. You can find it on our website.
