Sensor Board Delay

We’d like to appolozise for the delay in the production of the BLYST Nano sensor board. Initially, the design was based on the TDK MPU-9250, but by the time Crowd Supply campaign started that chip was announced end of life. Therefore we had to replace it with the new ICM-20948. Unfortunately, it wasn’t compatible. The new chip requires lower operating voltage, which forces us to add a step down converter to 1.8 V instead of the original 3 V design. By doing so, the LED and other components no longer worked. We had to redesign the whole thing. Not only did the hardware change, the driver also has to be re-writen. Hence, the delay plus the Lunar New year holidays causing further delays. We are expecting end of February for the production to finish the Sensor board. However this delay will only affect orders of the sensor board and the discovery kit. All other orders that were placed before Jan 14 has been fulfilled. Orders placed after that date will be fulfilled at the same time as the discovery kit. Thank you very much for your understanding.
