Sound Hackers is for anyone messing about with sound. We share projects, make music and learn about cool devices, techniques and technologies.

Come along to Sound Hackers if you’re interested in any kind of sound hacking at any level: guitar pedal DIYers, live coders, strange musicians, curious newbies, synth module designers, music tech lovers, and experimental instrument creators of all genres.

We encourage you to bring instrument hacks, current (or past) projects, favourite devices, or anything else you’d like to share with others. There will be tables, power and wifi available.

Sound Hackers will have a few short talks, demos and performances from special guests. Talks start at 7pm. No pitch decks.

Before and after the talks there will be plenty of time for drinks and snacks and nerding out. Bleeps and bloops guaranteed.

We welcome all sounds and any type of instrument, including analog, digital, acoustic, generative, musical, discordant, modern, ancient, scientific and mystical.
