Project update 8 of 12
After 30 days of campaign, ERASynth Micro has received support from 110 backers from 20 countries all over the world. This is great. We would like to thank you all for your support.
Today we shipped out the early-bird units and the accessories to Crowd Supply’s warehouse. We used DHL Express for the shipment. If everything goes according to schedule, the shipment should arrive in Portland on July 3rd.
We will start working on the next batch’s production immediately. We don’t foresee any delays.
We measured the phase noise using a signal source analyzer (SSA). Previously we were using our spectrum analyzer (E4440A by Agilent) to measure the phase noise. Using SSA, we found out that ERASynth Micro has better than -120 dBc/Hz phase noise at 10 kHz offset at 1 GHz output. In the plots below, we made a phase noise comparison of ERASynth+, ERASynth Micro and Agilent E8257D PSG with UNX option. You will be surprised to see that there is only 10 dB phase noise difference between ERASynth Micro and PSG UNX at 100 kHz offset.
Cheers,
The ERA Team
