Production progress

It has been some time since our last update so we are happy to provide you with the latest update about Walter and Walter Feels. After lots of hard work and dedication from our team, we are now in the final stages to send out the modules to you, our backers.

We are now running all modules through final testing before shipping them to you. If you did not yet secure your Walter board, now is the time!

Updated demo platform

Every Walter module comes pre-flashed with firmware that uploads some basic information to our demo platform. In the pre-production version we uploaded ESP32 core temperature and GNSS position, but now we also upload network information and we have extended the demo platform to include basic cellular tracking. Even when Walter doesn’t have GNSS reception, you will get a rough estimation of the position.

Also, the RSRP is now visualized which allows you to check the signal and/or test Walter’s reception without the need to program firmware.

Embedded World North America

After our successful participation at Embedded World in Nuremberg, we have therefore decided to also participate in Embedded World North America in October 2024. From October 8th to 10th you can find us in Austin, Texas at booth 1933. We look forward to meeting you there.
