We’re live! I’m really pleased to announce that ESP32 Rainbow is now available on Crowd Supply.
If you’re receiving this email and you’ve forgotten what ESP32 Rainbow is, it’s a beautifully crafted homage to my first computer — the ZX Spectrum. It’s based around the ESP32-S3 chip from Espressif and boasts:
- A built-in 320x240, full-color TFT display
- An SD card reader for storing all your games
- A 2 W speaker that recreates those iconic 8-bit sounds and plays AY sounds from the 128K
- Two Qwiic connectors for controllers and other peripherals
- An expansion port that exposes the display, SD card, speaker, and spare GPIO pins
- A USB Type-C port for power and for interfacing with your computer
