We have two announcements for all you Gliss fans out there: a new 1U format Gliss and the release of v2 of the Gliss Firmware. This updated firmware is available as a free upgrade for all current Gliss owners!

Loads of new features

The firmware upgrade is packed with great new features. Here’s a rundown of what’s new:

• Customisable slew rates. In Control Mode you can now set attack and release slew times, so you don’t need an envelope generator to control the rate at which your touches start and finish.

• New touch input type - Slider + Touch. We’ve added another touch input that combines a position slider with a pressure-sensitive button for even more modulation possibilities.

• Editable in/out points in Wavetable and Waveshaper playback you can now trim the start and end points of your gesture, so you can explore new timbral possibilities.

• Longer record times. Record for up to 150 seconds in Loop, Trigger, Waveshaper and Wavetable playback.

• Improved voltage range settings. We’ve added a ±1V preset for video synth enthusiasts, and a colour-coded interface to make setting custom ranges a breeze.

Gliss 1U version

In addition to this, Gliss now comes in 1U format.

Got a 1U row that needs filling with beautiful modulation? Gliss 1U gives you loads of hands-on modulation options - it’s the same great Gliss, now in horizontal format. Gliss 1U is available as an assembled module or as a faceplate only. This means you can convert the Gliss you already own into 1U format, you just need to upgrade to firmware v2 for 1U support.
