We’ve made a major update to the L1/L2/L5 Antenna design. First, the RF filter before the first amplifier has been redesigned to reduce loss, which improves the Noise Floor and SNR by 2-3 dB. Second, we’ve been able to reduce the power consumption of internal LNA. This new board has been manufactured, assembled, and checked.

The video above shows the final antenna assembly process. Now it’s ready for testing at its new home on our roof, next to the Trimble Zephyr antenna we use for comparison. Both will be tested together using a NovAtel dual frequency receiver. We’ll publish those results in another update in a week or so.
