I just wanted to let you know that, at long last, crowdfunding has begun for X1Plus Expander! If you’re receiving this e-mail, but you forgot what X1Plus Expander is, it’s the hardware companion to the X1Plus open-source custom firmware distribution for Bambu Lab’s X1-series 3D printers. If you’ve been waiting for the ability to attach your printer via Ethernet, take beautiful time-lapses with your DSLR, have visual and auditory print farm status indications, or any of the myriad other things that X1Plus Expander can do, I am now prepared to take your hard-earned dollars, like you’ve been begging me to do for months now!

In the coming weeks, I’ll also be sharing some teasers about the exciting things that X1Plus Expander can do. (I’m really excited to show you some of the time lapses I’ve grabbed with my mirrorless, for instance.)
